Internship Employers

Our internship program relies on strong employer partners across the Birmingham metro area and various industries. These partners are committed to providing high-quality, work-based learning experiences and investing in the next generation of the workforce. Employers host student interns during the fall or spring semesters (or both), mentoring them in seven core competencies defined by Birmingham Promise, and help explore their next steps after high school graduation. Employers are typically invoiced for intern payroll at the end of each semester or may add interns to their own payroll. All organizations are encouraged to express interest and connect with our employer partnership manager for more details.
